Coffin Bay Wild Coast & Seafood Experience
ONE DAY (8-HOURS)
Taste the ocean’s bounty, oysters, seafood, and stories of the sea
Experience our seafood like a local, explore, taste and see this stunning region with a tour that is different than the norm. A short drive from Port Lincoln brings you to Coffin Bay, home to world-famous oysters, pristine coastline and a rich abundance of wildlife. Collect oysters straight from the source before venturing into Coffin Bay National Park, where ancient cliffs meet sweeping white-sand beaches and tranquil bays shelter kangaroos, emus and dolphins. Learn the art of shucking, sip a gin infused with local botanicals, and savour a relaxed seafood cook-up featuring the finest local produce (weather dependant). Your afternoon celebrates the regions seafood story, drop into a family-run smokehouse turning small-batch Bluefin Tuna and Kingfish into rich, hot- and cold-smoked magic. Then jump aboard for a hit of maritime history, either gliding quietly through the marina on a canal cruiser or stepping onto Australia’s first purpose-built tuna boat. Expect insider stories, a close-up look at the Seafood Capital, and maybe even a crack at old-school tuna poling.
A full immersion in local flavour, characters and coastline, pure & Wild Eyre Peninsula.
