Your Australian Coastal Safari kicks off in Port Lincoln, South Australia.
There are a couple of options to get here.
By road from Adelaide, it is 647 km via the A1 to Port Augusta, then the Lincoln Highway to Whyalla, Cowell, and Tumby Bay, and takes about seven hours.
Flying into Port Lincoln? Both Rex and Qantaslink have direct flights several times a day from Adelaide. The Port Lincoln Airport, located 10 km north of Port Lincoln, is the busiest regional airport in South Australia. Secure long-term parking, taxi services, shuttle buses and hire cars are all available from the terminal.
The number of cruise liners visiting Port Lincoln continues to grow with each season. The cruise terminal is located at Brennan Jetty, about a 10-minute walk to the town centre.
